Chalk Time: Artists are invited to create their magic from 3-6:30pm.
Arrival: Please check in with the Friends of the Library to locate your art section.
Awards: Judging and Community Best in Show will be from 5-6pm. Awards to follow. Categories: Youth, Adult and Professional Artists Materials: Participants will be supplied with sidewalk chalk courtesy of our sponsors at Frozen Pine Tattoo. You’re welcome to bring your own chalk as long as it is water washable and does not stain the path.
Rain: Event will take place rain or shine. Photography: Photographs may be taken by Library staff and Friends of the Library volunteers and used for future publicity.
• – Drawings must be appropriate for public viewing. No inappropriate language or images.
• – No commercial stencils please. Feel free to use the tools such masking tape, rulers, or cardboard to mask off areas while working. You may want to use a cheap sponge to blend large areas.
• – Feel free to use a prepared sketch to work from.
• – If you are creating an image originally created by another artist (living or deceased), it is important to credit the artist and title near the drawing.
